'“Coming to New Beginnings I met the owners David and Kristi. They made me feel extremely welcomed and at home. David and Kristi truly care about each resident and are genuine in there approach and of helping you get back on track and live a drug free lifestyle. I am proud to say i am 18 months sober and New Beginnings, more importantly, David and Kristi had a big part in my path to success.”

“For me, the gift is helping other people who struggle with addiction. It’s the best feeling I’ve ever felt in my life. Giving back and giving someone who is lost, like I once was, a sense of hope. Through New Beginnings I found my sense of purpose so I could help the next person. This is the best gift I can give someone.”

“I needed help so badly and I couldn’t figure out how to do it on my own. I was lost and spinning my wheels. So I found an AA meeting that some guys from New Beginnings just happened to be there. I had no idea what a halfway house was or sober living but I went anyway not knowing what to expect. It really did save my life and got me off the streets of Atlanta. Thanks you so much David and Kristi for New Beginnings”

“I was homeless and living on the streets, depressed, with no hope at all. I didn’t know where to turn and was on a suicide mission. I decided to myself I’ll give this sober living thing one more chance. I had been to several other programs and left after about 4 months each time. New Beginnings was different. It’s not just about the money with them. The staff truly cares and works hard to help you succeed in your path to recovery.”

“It all begin the day I broke a needle in my arm and the needle traveled to my heart and almost killed me. After two surgeries and 17 days in the hospital, I had had enough. I searched sober living programs on my phone and it pulled up New Beginnings. It was truly a God thing and the rest is history. New Beginnings saved my life and now I’m on the staff. It truly was a New Beginning!”

““The struggle is real.” That’s a understatement for the life I was living. Selling drug, selling stolen goods, living from motel to motel, I was a walking, talking, scam artist. I finally got pulled over and got popped for 596 grams of cocaine and received a 12 year sentence in the GaDoc. I made parole after 7 years and entered into New Beginnings. David and Kristi help me get back on my feet, the right way. Now I’m married to a beautiful woman and have a 2 year old son. I owe it all to New Beginnings for all the effort and time they put into me. I am the most blessed man on earth now!”

“I was smoking crack every day all day. I couldn’t get enough of it. I was stealing anything that wasn’t nailed down. If I thought I could beat you out of $5 I would try my best just so I could get my next hit. That all changed the day I walked through the door at New Beginnings. I was one of the first residence that David let in. I’ve been sober for 6 years now and don’t even think about trying to beat someone out of therer money. Matter fact I’m involved with the D.A.R.E. program and help kids stay of drugs. It’s a crazy world out there and people need all the help they can get, especially the youth.”
